For use in rheumatoid arthritis (RA)

 

• IMURAN is indicated for the management of severe, active, and erosive rheumatoid arthritis unresponsive to conventional therapies.²

For use in transplantation

 

• IMURAN is indicated as an adjunct for the prevention of rejection in renal transplantation.²
• The use of IMURAN for the prevention of rejection is well established.²
• IMURAN has been widely used in transplant centers, with or without other immunosuppressive agents to prevent renal transplant rejection.²
• The initial dose is usually 3 to 5 mg/kg daily beginning at the time of transplant. Dose reduction to maintenance levels 1 to 3 mg/kg daily is usually possible.²
